Nominations sought for Wesson Good Citizen

Nominations are invited for the Good Citizen Award sponsored by the Wesson Chamber of Commerce.

The Good Citizen Award will be presented to a person of high moral standards and integrity who has made an outstanding contribution to Wesson and the surrounding community through one or more of the following:

1. Coordinating a worthwhile project and furthering its progress with his/her local support and leadership;

2. exhibiting an enthusiasm for community service and a willingness to give of his/her time, talent and personal resources throughout the year;

3. making a commitment to work for the betterment of the community and promoting community endeavors with leadership throughout the year; and

4. participating in civic, church and other community activities and exhibiting a dedication to the cause of good government.

The Good Citizen Award will be presented at the annual Wesson Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Nov. 27. Anyone who wishes to nominate an individual to receive this award should write a brief account of the person’s qualities and accomplishments, with specific examples where possible. Nominations should be sent to:
