Betty Lou Sullivan King

Betty Lou Sullivan King, 71, of Liberty, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at her home.  
Services were held Saturday, Nov. 3, from Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb  with Rev. Gerald Wicker officiating.  Interment was in Lowe cemetery in Copiah County.
She was born September 19, 1936 in Amite County.  She was the daughter of Clinton Truly and Lucille Laird Sullivan.  She was retired, having worked for Croft Metals, Kellwood Company, M.L. Lynch Company and Pop Jackson’s Grocery.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Amite County.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luther Reginald King; an infant son, Reginald Ray King and a brother, Daniel Sullivan.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Joyce King of Liberty and Robert and Sherry King of Wesson; daughters and son-in-law, Frances and Ricky Thompson of Liberty and Louise King of Tylertown; brothers and sisters-in-law, William Clinton “Pete” Sullivan and Eloise of Columbus, Billy Wayne Sullivan and Carolyn of Bude and Paul Sullivan and Phyllis of Liberty; sisters and brothers-in-law, Christine and Fritz Oberlies of Gulfport, Cora Annette Jones of McComb, Emma Sue Tarver of Smithdale and Sarah Alice and Roger Arnold of Liberty; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joseph Thompson, Reginald King, Stacey Thomas, Gabe Sullivan, Danny Sullivan, Roger Sullivan, Dusty Sullivan and Greg Colclasure.
