Pauline Davis, 66, formerly of Harrisville, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 13, from New Hymn M. B. Church in Pinola with Rev. Rickey O’Quinn officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery with Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davis was born May 25, 1941, to W. L. (Jack) Davis and Clotee (Clo) Davis of Harrisville. She was educated at New Hymn Attendance Center and Piney Woods Country Life School. She was married to Bill Davis and later moved to Indianapolis, IN, where she worked at the Indiana School for the Blind and continued her education at Broadripple High School.
Survivors include: children, Mark Davis, Tracy (Maurita) Davis, Patricia (Marvin) Hunt and Michael Davis of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Millie Ayers of Crystal Springs, Laveria Jamison of Indianapolis, IN, and Carolyn (Henry) Chapman of Pinola; brothers, Lemmie (Sharon) Davis of Harrisville, Carlie (Eddie Davis of Madison, Donnie (Angie) Davis, Kenneth Davis, and Tyrone Davis, all of Harrisville; 17 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
