Rosie B. Cooley

Rosie B. Cooley, 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007.

Services were held Saturday, Nov. 17, from Kingdom Hall with Rev. Clyde Browder officiating. Interment was in Hazlehurst City Cemetery with The House of People Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 21, 1924 in Copiah County to the late Bennie and Wilanna Martin Williams. She married Marshall Cooley, Sr. and had eighteen children, nine of whom preceded her in death.

 Survivors are daughter, Rosezean Williams, Annollia Austin, Gladis Cooley, Hazel  (Edward), and Debra Williams (Troy); sons, John Cooley (Ann), Samuel Cooley (Ada), Melvin Cooley (Linda) and Marvin Cooley (Sharonda);  sisters, Ola Mae Jones of Halzehurst and Virgie Bell Lucas of Chicago, IL; 56 grandchildren, a grandson whom she reared, Jermain Cooley (Ruby); 108 great-grandchildren; 72 great-great grandchildrden.
