Luddie Louise Graham Neal, 85, of Crystal Springs, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007.
Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 5, from Good Hope Baptist Church in Crystal Springs with Elder Arthur Lewis officiating. Interment was in Crystal Springs Cemetery with Hazlehurst Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Neal was born June 21, 1922 to Emma Ford Graham and Richard (Dick) Graham. She worked as a teacher in Head Start, a cook at the Mississippi Job Corps facility and was a member of the NAACP. She was an active member of New Zion Methodist Church and was married to William Neal.
Survivors include: daughters, Ina C. Neal Watson of Atlanta, GA, Linda (Willis) Jenkins of East Windsor, NJ, Bertha Thomas (Henry) of Crystal Springs, Carol Ann Neal (Malcolm) of Hazlehurst, and Kiessha Pendleton (Thurman) Body of Byram; step-daughter, Loretta Neal Ervin; son, William (Janet) Neal; step-son, Herbert Neal, all of Crystal Springs; sister, Mrs. Adrian Mitchell of New York; brother Johnny (Hazel) Graham of Crystal Springs; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and special people, James and Iris Brent.
