James Robert Smith

James Robert Smith, 53, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at his residence. 

Services were held Monday, Dec. 31, from Stringer Family Chapel with interment in Bethesda Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mr. Smith was a native of Clarksdale.  He had lived in Hazlehurst since 1986.  Mr. Smith formerly worked at Signature Works in Hazlehurst.

Survivors include: his wife Yvette Smith; son, Nathan Smith of Carthage, NY; daughters, Maricina Bardwell and Ashley Rando both of Brookhaven; sister, Martha Chambers of Rogersville, TN; and six grandchildren.
