Ophelia Shoemaker

Olphelia Tune Shoemaker, 68, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at University Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 25, at Lakewood Funeral Home with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park South.

Mrs. Shoemaker was born October 14, 1939 in Union.

Survivors include: her husband, Ray Shoemaker; two sons, Bruce E. Shoemaker and wife, Denise of Wesson, and Larry D. Shoemaker of Jackson; a brother, Charlie Tune and wife, Joyce; sisters, Mary Tune and husband, David, Bertie Barnes, all of Sebastapol, and Johnnie Mears of Jacksonport, AR; grandchildren, Bruce, II, Coty and Misty Shoemaker, Bianca White, and great-grandson, Ethan White.
