Arthur S. Gordin

Arthur S. Gordin, 78, of Crystal Springs, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at Hardy Wilson Hospital in Hazlehurst.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 18, from Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Gordin was a graduate of Canton High School, Hinds Jr. College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He retired from the MS Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation after 35 years of service. Mr. Gordin served his country in the US Army and was a member of Crystal Springs UMC where he was a member of the Lamar Sunday School class.

Survivors include: wife, Faye Gordin of Crystal Springs; son, Thomas Gordin and wife Carolyn of Crystal Springs; daughter, Ouida Faye Silverberg and husband D. J. of Winter Springs, Fla; grandchildren, Amber Gordin, Rachel Gordin, Sarah Gordin and Thomas Gordin
