Emily Fahner named MPSA All-Star

Copiah Academy senior Emily Fahner, daughter of Dale and Laura Fahner of Hazlehurst, was named as a MPSA girls basketball All-Star last week.

She will represent the South in Saturday’s AA-AAA girls All-Star game at 2:30 at A. E. Wood Coliseum at Mississippi College in Clinton.  The 5’11” Fahner, who was coached by Dee Granger, averaged 11 points, 9 rebounds and 26 minutes per game.  She scored a season-high 23 points against ACCS in the first round of the South State AA tournament, and hit for 21 earlier in the season against Columbia.
