John William Nelson

John William Nelson, 56, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008 at his home. 

Services were held Saturday, March 1 from Stringer Family Chapel with interment in Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Spring is handling arrangements.

Mr. Nelson was a member of High Hill Baptist Church in Philadelphia.

Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by parents, Charles H. Nelson of Nashville, TN and Macy Lee Berry Nelson of Crystal Springs; and grandparents, William David Berry and Vista Keating Berry of Crystal Springs.

Survivors include: son, John Thomas Nelson of Sebastopol; daughters, Eva Kameron Nelson Arthur of Union, Maranda Nelson Eversoll of Ridgeland, and Kimberly Anne Nelson Bozeman of Philadelphia; brother, Eddie Nelson of Brookhaven; sister, Cynthia Nelson Rials of Crystal Springs; and four grandchildren.
