Dolia Haywood

Mrs. H.O. “Dolia” Haywood, 85, of Macon, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle in Columbus.

Services were held Thursday, March 20, from Concord Baptist Church, in Macon, with interment in Salem Cemetery in Macon.

Mrs. Haywood was born on Nov. 27, 1922, to Theodore and Betty Mae Moore Ezell.

A native of Stonewall, Mrs. Haywood was a graduate of Enterprise School. She worked for the Veterans Affairs and the Red Cross Services for many years. She was an active member of Concord Baptist Church having been very involved with all church activities including the WMU and Sunday school teacher.  

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband.

Survivors include: her daughter, Joy H. Johnson, of Wesson; and her son, Harvey Haywood, of Macon; and six grandchildren.
