Francis Ellen Smith Walker

Francis Ellen Smith Walker, 97, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Services were held Monday, March 17, from House of Peoples Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Daniels officiating. Interment was in Hazlheurt City Cemetery.

Mrs. Walker was born July 22, 1910 to Willie Smith and Margaret Young. She was married to James Ervin amd worked in the field as a sharecropper.

Survivors include: daughters, Lillie Mae Walker of Hazlehurst, Flora Ervin of Indianapolis, IN, and Bertha (Eric) Lamothe of College Park, GA; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
