Oscar Marvin Weeks

Oscar Marvin Weeks, 78, of Wesson, died Sunday, May 11 , 2008, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Beauregard United Methodist Church with interment in Beauregard Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the church. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home of Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

A native and life long resident of Copiah County, Mr. Weeks served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired quality control  manager at Potter Industries in Wesson and was a member of Beauregard United Methodist Church and the Wesson Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Jackson Weeks and Mary Alice Weeks; and two brothers, Lewis Jackson Weeks, Jr. and Howard Weeks.

Survivors include: his wife, Nancy Weeks of Wesson; brother, John Weeks and wife Karen of Wynndale; sisters, Agnes Ratliff and husband Larry of Wesson and Elma Purser and husband Woodrow of Crystal Springs; brother-in-law, Woody Berry and sister-in-law, Sarah Weeks of Hazlehurst.
