Wilson Daughdrill

Services for Wilson Daughdrill, of New Hebron, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, at New Hebron Baptist Church with burial in New Hebron Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Daughdrill, 99, died June 2, 2008, at Haven Hall Health Care Center in Brookhaven. He was a native of Jefferson Davis County, the son of Hugh and Fanny Jolly Daughdrill.

He was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school secretary for a number of years. He was a farmer, truck driver for Gulf, worked road construction with Mid-South Paving and served on the New Hebron School Board. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include: his wife, Delma Daughdrill, of New Hebron; his son, Roy Daughdrill, of Wesson; his daughter, Betty Coulter, of Prentiss; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
