William Jeffrey Kennedy

William Jeffrey (Jeff) Kennedy, 41, of the Burns Community, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

Services were held Monday, Aug. 18, from Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh with interment in Burns Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Kennedy was employed as a truck driver for a number of years with Saia and recently with Hodum Trucking. He was a member of the Mines Hunting Club.

Survivors include: his wife, Joy Farmer Kennedy, formerly of Hazlehurst; son, Joey Kennedy of Raleigh; daughter, Katie Kennedy of Raleigh; mother, Delores Pell of Burns; grandmother, Mary Edith Cole of Burns; and Brother, Greg (Suzanne) Young of Raleigh.
