Irva Lee Brister

Irva Lee Brister, 95, of Crystal Springs, died September 15, 2008 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.  Visitation will be 12:30pm-2pm Wednesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home. Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Crystal Springs Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
 
Mrs. Brister was a member of Crystal Springs United Methodist Church and was always serving in her church choir.  She was a native of Corinth and previously lived in Crystal Springs, formerly lived in McComb and Monroe, LA before moving back to Crystal Springs a year ago.
 
 
Mrs. Brister was preceded in death by her husbands, Enoch Henry and Lowery Brister, a brother, J. T. Caldwell, and a step-son, Lowery Lee Brister.
 
She is survived by sons, Gerald W. and Terry Henry of Crystal Springs, Billy Jo and Carole Henry of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Thomas and Judy Caldwell Henry of Brandon; daughters, Carolyn Bieniek of Montgomery, TX; step-sons, Joe Fred Brister, Don Brister, and Ben Brister; grandchildren, Wayne Miller Sarah Miller, Liz Henry, David Price, Stephen Price, Philip Price, Stephanie Cartwright, J. Preston Henry, Ashley Henry, Josh Henry, and Kristen Wade; numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
