Over 100 vendors lined up for Wesson Flea Market

The 37th Annual Wesson Flea Market Outdoor Arts and Crafts Show and Sale will be held on Saturday, October 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This show and sale will be held on the Main Street of Wesson and is sponsored by the Town of Wesson Fire Department.

Over 100 vendors have registered from Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, and other states, along with local vendors for this year’s event.

The flea market is the Wesson Fire Department’s only fundraiser each year, explained Kenneth Furr, the event’s organizer. The department usually raises enough funds from the flea market to buy much needed equipment.

Only civic clubs and church groups from the Wesson trade area are allowed to sell food, so the flea market serves as a major fund raising source for other worthwhile local organizations.
