Eva G. Ainsworth

Eva G. Ainsworth, 78, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at St. Dominic’s hospital in Jackson.

Services were held Monday, Oct. 27, from Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram Chapel. Interment was in Lakewood South.

A native of Copiah County, Mrs. Ainsworth had lived in the Jackson and Byram area for 58 years. She retired from General Electric after 33 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Byram.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Gertrude Guess; sister, Evelyn King; and grandson, Eric Seeley.

Survivors include: her husband of 50 years Max T. Ainsworth; daughters, Margaret (Les) Easterling of Copiah County and Tommie (Guy) Wyman of Byram; brother, Eugene Guess of Copiah County; sister, Lorene Boone of Lawrence County; six grandsons; two granddaughters; five great granddaughters; and four great grandsons.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Byram Organ Fund.
