Josh Hood breaks Wesson 3-point record

Wesson’s new single-game three point leader is senor Josh Hood.
Hood was 9 of 12– for 75% – from beyond the arc and finished with 27 points. He finished 9 of 14 overall. The nine 3-point goals is the most in a single game in the Cobras’ history. The past 3-point record was held by Josh’s cousin, the late Brandt Hood, who made 8 in a game against Piney Woods on December 12, 2006. Brandt was 8 for 13 from long range that night.
The Cobras made a total of 11 three’s against St. Al, with Cody King and Gib Britt adding one each. King, a senior, also contributed with 14 points and 5 assists, while the other senior on the team, Jamar Sims, added 10 points and 6 assists.
The win improved the Cobras’ record to 3-0. Other victories have come over Copiah Academy and Dexter.
