Wesson sweeps Pelahatchie

GIRLS – Wesson 62, Pelahatchie 51

Lady Cobra guard Ann Shelby Davis led all scorers at Pelahatchie on Saturday evening, helping her team to a 62-51 win.  Macie Case pitched in with 16, and Ansley Schimmel added 13.

BOYS – Wesson 61, Pelahatchie 57

Led by Tyler Lumley with 18, the Cobras erased a halftime deficit of 30-18 to win on the road.

Senior guard Cody King was good for 16, and senior guard Jamar Sims added 12.

Wesson hosts Bogue Chitto on Tuesday evening with four games beginning at 4 p.m.
