Catherine R. Welch

Catherine Reeves Welch, 89, of Brandon, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab.  

Services will be 11am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel in Crystal Springs with interment in Palestine Cemetery.

Mrs. Welch was a native of Simpson County and had lived in Jackson for the last 55 years. She was a retired waitress and enjoyed gardening.  Mrs. Welch has been a resident of Brandon Nursing and Rehab for the last year and a half.  
 
Survivors include: daughter, Mary Thomley and husband Lamar of Brandon; son, Shelton Welch of Jackson; brothers, Paul Reeves of Jacksonville, FL And Sidney Reeves of Crystal Springs; sisters, Annie Ruth Box of Nacadoches, TX, Trudy Bales of Houston, TX, Grace Williams of Southaven, Gladys Martin of Houston, TX, Hazel Wendz of Tucson, AZ, Pauline Day of Terry, MS and Aline Moore of Wesson, MS; 4 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild.
