Evelyn Joyce Snell

Evelyn Joyce Snell, 57, of Harrisville, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008 at her home. 

Services were held Sunday, Dec. 28, from First Baptist Church in Terry with interment in Strong Hope Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Snell was a native of Raleigh. She formerly lived in Jackson and moved to Simpson County in 1991 and made her home there since. She graduated from high school in Raleigh and Fondren’s Beauty School in Jackson and was a beautician for several years. Mrs. Snell was a member of First Baptist Church of Terry.

Survivors include: husband, Charles A. Snell of Harrisville; step-daughters, Wincie Sanderson of Brandon and Laura Snell of Pelehatchie; step-father, Frank Lightsey of Hazlehurst; sisters, Donna Moss of Crystal Springs, Judy Matthews of Hopewell, Kathy Dier of Byram; and six step-grandchildren
