Wesson 8th graders sweep Salem

The Wesson boys and girls 8th grade basketball teams whipped the Salem Wildcats Tuesday night in Wesson in Mid-South Conference action.
Wesson Girls 34, Salem 16
Azaria Smith led the Lady Cobras with 8 points in the win that saw every Cobra get playing time.
Wesson Boys 48, Salem 40
The Cobras were led by Terry Brown’s 20 point effort while James Clay chipped in 10 points. Carlos Bogan added 9 in support for the Cobras.
