The Cobras played an impressive game against the Green Waves holding them to a score of 1-1 throughout regulation play. They eventually lost to the Green Waves 4-2 after a shootout competition. The Green Wave efforts at scoring were stopped several times by Cobra defenders Dustin Case, Sid Cawthorn and Cody Chrestman leaving the scored 1-0 for most of the first half. The Green Wave finally scored a goal late in the first half. The second half remained scoreless for both teams and rather than settle for a tie, the teams decided to have a shootout. The Green Wave made their first three shots while the Cobras narrowly missed their first two. Sid Cawthorn made the only goal for the Cobras leaving the final score 4-2.
The Lady Cobras were shut out by the Lady Waves with a score of 6-0. Any advances made by the Lady Cobra offense were either shut down by the Lady Wave defense or by their goalie.
