Talmadge Dewitt “Billy” Carr

Talmadge Dewitt “Billy” Carr, Jr, 79,  of Gallman, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at his home.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M.  Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Crystal Springs.  Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram is in charge of arrangements.  

Mr. Carr lived most of his life in Copiah County and was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his Parents Talmadge Dewitt Carr, Sr., and Maggie Lee Conn Carr; and his sister Betty Jean Carr Berry.

Survivors include: daughters:  Tamara (Jerry) King of Monticello,  Sandi (LaRue) Stephens of Long Beach, and Deborah (Lavelle) Luper of Gallman;  brother:  Joe Carr of Suntag;  sister LaRue Burt of Crystal Springs;  four Grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Gallman Baptist Church Building Fund,  P. O. Box 308, Gallman, MS  39077.
