Free seminar at library on scams, identity theft

North Mississippi Rural Legal Services’ Tax Attorney Amanda Glover Evans will present a free seminar at Georgetown Public Library on February 17 from 2:00 to 3:30, (601-858-2202);  at Crystal Springs Public Library on  February 18 from 10:00 to 11:30, (601-892-3205); and at Wesson Public Library on February 18 from 2:00 to 3:30   (601-643-5725) on Identity Theft, Scams and Cons – How to Protect Yourself, and Protecting Your Credit.

Topics presented will include the latest known scams and how to avoid them, how to protect your financial information from ending up in the wrong hands, warning signs and what to do if you are a victim. The session will include a question and answer period.
