Roy Young

Roy Young, 66, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Thursday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs.  Services will be 2pm Friday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. Young was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County except for a period that he worked in Texas.  He was a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church.  Mr. Young was a retired concrete finisher from Dickerson and Bowen.
 
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Young Morrison of Terry.
