Betty Rebecca Phillips

Betty Rebecca Phillips, 70, of Crystal Springs, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at her home.

Visitation will be 1pm-3pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs.  Services will be 3pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Chapel with interment in Poplar Springs Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church.  She was very adventurous.  She loved to travel, camp, sailing, and rock climbing in her Jeep.
 
Survivors include: her husband of 50 years, Billy Phillips; son, Chris Phillips of Crystal Springs; daughters, Cindy White and Marlo Hollis both of Crystal Springs; brother, Richard Hayles of Pearl; sisters, Kathryn Lick, Mildred Pace, and Bobbie Crisler all of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
