Mary Lynn Shelton

Mary Lynn Shelton, 80, of Pattison, died Friday, May 29, 2009 at her home.

Services will be 11am Tuesday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Shelton Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Shelton was a member of Brandywine Methodist Church.  She worked for Edward Hynman for 42 years.
 
She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Edwin Shelton, Jr., and brothers, Randall Smith and Owen Smith.
 
Survivors include: husband, Samuel Shelton; son, James Leon Shelton and wife Doris of Pattison; brother, Willie Fred Smith of Brookhaven, Leon Smith of Dentville, Russell Smith of Crystal Springs, and Earnest Smith of Dentville; sisters, Minnie Clark and Mattie Sue King both of Dentville; grandchildren, Dustin Shelton, Lavon Parker, and Chris Sanders; five great grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
