Hiram Clyde (Junior) Newman

Hiram Clyde (Junior) Newman, 62, of Wesson, died Saturday, June 6, at his home.  

Services were held Tuesday, June 9, from Stringer Family Chapel with intermrent in Wesson Cemetery.

Mr. Newman was a native of Durant and a long time resident of Copiah County.  He was the longtime owner of Junior Newman’s Wrecker Service.

Survivors include: wife, Jan Hamilton Newman; sons, Brad Newman of Amarillo, TX, J. R. Newman of Brookhaven and Preston Newman of Wesson; daughter, Marsie Newman of Brookhaven; step-daughters, Mandy White of Hazlehurst, Michele Sanders of Wesson and Pam Goza of Georgetown; mother, Lillie Beatrice Newman of Wesson; brother, Kenneth Newman of Wesson; and sister, Darleen Nations of Wesson.
