Mary Ouida Conn

Mary Ouida Conn, 83, of Crystal Springs, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at her home. 

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 9,  at Stringer Funeral Home, 26141 Hwy 27, Crystal Springs, from 5pm-8pm.  Services are 10am Saturday morning Oct. 10, 2009 at Stringer Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Crystal Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Conn, born Mary Ouida Allen of Jackson lived in Crystal Springs for 62 years.  She was married February 14, 1948 to James E. Conn of Crystal Springs.  She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served as nursery director for 50 years. 
 
Mrs. Conn was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. O. P. Allen and Mrs. Althea Hegwood Allen, and sister, Laverne Allen Cooke.
 
Survivors include: her husband, James E. Conn; daughters, Retha Neusy and Chris Conn of Crystal Springs, Toni C. Clements and husband Joel of Waynesboro; son, James Clark Conn and wife Mary of Jackson; grandchildren, Jennifer Portera and husband Bryan of Starkville, Nicole Cooley and husband Robert of Waynesboro, Nick Bolton and Jonathan Neusy of Crystal Springs, Catie Conn of Mobile, AL, and Caroline, Gracie and Claire Conn of Jackson; great grandchildren, Marguerite, Olivia, and Joseph Portera of Starkville.
