Geneva Joyce Bridges

Geneva Joyce Bridges, 76, of Crystal Springs, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at St. Dominic Hospital.  

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home.  Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Gatesville Baptist Church with burial in Gatesville Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Bridges was a native and lifelong resident of Crystal Springs.  She formerly worked for Bernstein Factory, Service Cleaners and Kenwin Dress Shop.  Mrs. Bridges was the oldest member of Gatesville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bridges was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Bridges.

Survivors include: son, Donnie Bridges of Crystal Springs; daughter, Darlene Streiff of Crystal Springs; sister, Helen Morgan of Crystal Springs; grandchildren, Misty Prine, Michael Strieff, Mandy Gammill, and Melissa Bridges; and great grandchildren, Brianna and Logan Prine, Mark Anthony Strieff, and Rylie Gammill.
