Lorraine Morrison

Lorriane Anne (Lorrie) Morrison, 53, of Utica, died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at her home. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs.  Services will be 11am Saturday at St. John Catholic Church with interment in Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Morrison was a native of Copiah County.  She graduated from Crystal Springs School in 1975.  She attended nursing school at Hinds Community College and graduated in 1988.  She worked at Methodist Rehab Center in Jackson as a registered nurse in Employee Health Infection Control.  Mrs. Morrison was a parishioner of St. John Catholic Church all of life.  She was a participant and supporter of the Relay for Life of the American Cancer Society.
 
Survivors include: her husband Gregory S. (Greg) Morrison; sons, Heath Morrison of Brandon; daughter, Lacey Morrison Hobkirk of Crystal Springs; brothers, Donald (Donnie) Andew Phillips of Gallman, Richard A. Phillips of Corpus Christi, TX; and Scott Phillips of Bryam; sisters, Linda Bobbitt of Ridgeland and Yvette Howard of Crystal Springs; granddaughter, Allyson Claire Morrison.
 
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. John Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
