Richard Norman Odom

Richard Norman Odom, 62, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at Pine Crest Rest Home.

Services were held Friday, Dec. 18, from Galilee Baptist Church, Rockport, with interment in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Odom was born Dec. 19, 1946, in Copiah County to Lloyd Odom and Stella Beasley Odom. A member of the National Guard, he was disabled.

Survivors include: his mother, Stella Odom of Hazlehurst;  wife, Gail Odom of Hazlehurst; son, Richard Buckley of Hazlehurst; daughters, Lorece Hamilton of Wesson, Janice Short and Wendy Toeldo of Hazlehurst, and Lynn Loungo of Denver, CO; brothers, Sammy Odom, Bobby Odom, and Sherrill Odom; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Robert Odom, Justin Hamilton, Devan Young and Geronimo Toeldo.
