Ethel Allred

Ethel Abbot Allred, 76, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Thursday, February 4,  at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs.  Services will be 11am Friday, February 5,  at McBride Church with burial at McBride Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Allred was a native of McBride.  She graduated from Union Church High School and Belhaven College.  She taught school in several public schools and private schools in Mississippi.  Mrs. Allred had lived in Crystal Springs since 1994.
 
Survivors include: daughters, Lela A. Brister of Milton, FL, Greta A. Hatten and Tanya K. Allred both of Crystal Springs; grandchildren, Ginny Hatten, Cassy Hatten, Jacob Hatten, Sara Brister, Annie Brister-Boyer; and great grandchild, Corinne Boyer.
