Missing girls found unharmed

Two young Copiah County girls who went missing from their home Tuesday evening were found Wednesday afternoon unharmed. The girls are believed to have walked away from home after one of the girls had a dispute with her mother. The two were found Wednesday afternoon about 10 miles away from their home walking along the road. They were taken to the Copiah County Sheriff’s Department.

 Law enforcement officers are still trying to determine the course of events that led to about 75 people, mostly volunteers connected with emergency services, searching for the girls on Wednesday.
