Zubie Knight Martello

Zubie Knight Martello, 78, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at her home. 

Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Thursday at Crystal Springs United Methodist Church.  Services will be 11am Friday at the Church with burial in Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Martello was born in Crystal Springs to the late Auther and Zettie Knight.  She graduated from Crystal Springs High School in 1950 and attended Millsaps College.  She retired from Alfa Insurance Corporation in 1996.  She was a faithful member of the Crystal Springs United Methodist Church, where she joyfully served in many areas.  
 
Mrs. Martello was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Martello in 1996.
 
Survivors include: her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Barlow Guynes (Gary) and Sally Rogers Garland (Gates), all of Crystal Springs, Tracey Rogers Wilson (Dale) of Montgomery, AL; son, Joe Martello of Crystal Springs; 6 grandchildren, Glen Guynes, Anna Guynes Thomas (David), Thomas Garland, Clint Denson, Clayton Denson, all of Crystal Springs, and Lora Emily Reid of Montgomery, AL.
 
Zubie was a radiant reflection of God’s glory and will be remembered for her servant’s heart.  Memorials may be made to Crystal Springs United Methodist Church, Children and Youth Programs, 306 West Georgetown Street, Crystal Springs, MS  39059 or to Mt.
