Henry M. Selman, Jr.

Henry Selman, 79, of Crystal Springs, died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at his home after a lengthy illness. 

Visitation will be 1pm-2pm Saturday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs.  Services will be 2pm Saturday at Stringer Family Chapel with interment in Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. Selman was a native and lifelong resident of Crystal Springs.  He retired in 2003 from Jackson Redi-Mix after 30 years as a heavy equipment operator.  
 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Essie Parish Selman and a grandson, Travis Kirby.
 
Survivors include: five children, Wayne (Kay) Selman, Shirley (Nick) Kirby, Ronnie (Sally) Selman, Randy (Gina) Selman, and Terry (Angie) Selman; sister, Mary Frances Taylor; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
