Matthew Alan Miller, Sr., 41, of Wesson, died Friday, June 25, 2010.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday, June 29, at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 10:10am Wednesday, June 30, at Crystal Springs United Methodist Church with burial in Hopewell Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mr. Miller was born October 31, 1968 in Jackson, MS, to Patricia Ann and Kelly Braswell Miller. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson. He had served as a youth director at County Line Baptist Church in Crystal Springs. He graduated from Union Academy in 1987. He spent his childhood in Hopewell and most of his adult life in Crystal Springs until residing in Wesson for the last five years. He coached soccer in Crystal Springs and Brookhaven and coached baseball in Crystal Springs and Wesson. He was skilled in carpentry and mechanics and had the ability to “MacGyver” just about anything.
Survivors include: wife, Jo Ann Miller, sons, Matthew Miller, Jr. and Justin Barron; daughter, Brooklyn Miller; father, Kelly Miller; mother, Patricia Miller and Wayne Wallace; brother, Michael Miller and wife Sarah; niece, Sarah Beth Miller; and nephew, Barron Miller.
