Ray Smith

Reggie Ray Smith, 57, of Crystal Springs, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at New Zion Baptist Church.  Services will be 10am Wednesday at New Zion Baptist Church with burial in Pine Bluff Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangments.

Mr. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County.  He was a
supervisor at Kitchens Brothers Lumber Company for 26 years.  He was an avid
hunter and fisherman.  He was a member of the Believers Bassman Fishing Club.  
Mr. Smith was president and longtime member of the Smith Hill Hunting Club.  He
was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include: wife, Donna Fuller Smith; daughters, Missy Smith Lackey
(Brett) of Raymond and Nikki Smith Copeland (Nathan) of Raymond; mother, Lanell
Deer Smith of Dentville; sisters, Kathy Cessna (Roy) and Kay Selman (Wayne) all
of Crystal Springs; grandchildren, Clay Lackey, Fallon Copeland, Mason Copeland,
and Dylan Lackey.
