Chuck Lenard

Charles A. “Chuck” Lenard of Crystal Springs, died Thursday, September 16 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in
Jackson.

 Visitation is scheduled for 5pm-8pm Friday at Highland Baptist Church in Crystal Springs. Services will be 2pm Saturday at Highland Baptist Church with burial in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lenard was a native of Ft. Smith, AR and served in the US Air Force. He was
a deacon at Highland Baptist Church, a Gideon, and a lifetime member of the NRA.
He retired from AT&T after 31 years of service. One of his pleasures and what
he was known for was riding his grandchildren around on his tractor.

Survivors include his wife, Linda McManus Lenard; sons, Daniel Scott Lenard of
Crystal Springs and Thomas Allen Lenard of Gallman; daughter, Chelly
Whittington of Pearl; brothers, Rolly Lenard of Sugar Loaf Lake, AR, George
Lenard of Shreveport, LA, and James William Lenard; sisters, Carrie Jean Glen of
Hebnor, OK, Emmie Lou Carpenter of Wister, OK, and Rebecca Jane Owens of
Summerfield, OK; grandchildren, Matthew Lenard, Duane Lenard; Kristin Johnson,
Neil Whittington, Nicholas Whittington and Dustin Whittington; great
grandchildren, Isabella Johnson and Myles Lenard.
