Beverly (Nita) Farmer, 73, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Wednesday, September 22, at
Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs. Services will be 10am
Thursday, September 23, 2010, at Stringer Family Chapel with interment in Harmony Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Farmer was a native of Hazlehurst and attended Hazlehurst School. She lived in various areas for several years during her husband’s career in the U. S. Army and moved back to Copiah County in 1975.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and the Tuesday sewing circle. She enjoyed all of her children, grandchildren, and her girly trips with all her daughters and granddaughters. She enjoyed her hummingbirds, her cats, and working in the dirt and growing flowers. When she was introduced to someone she liked to say, “Just call me granny,” she like being called granny.
Survivors include: her husband, A. J. Jimmy Farmer; daughters, Beverly Ann Wells, Jimmie (Lou) Carter, and Gigi Sullivan and husband Randy all of Crystal Springs; sisters, Linda Ann Cotton of Crystal Springs, grandchildren, Kristle Channel and husband Truett, Mallory Risher and husband Brad, and Marcy Granger; great grandchildren, Gracie, Clay, and Jake; and nephew, Keith McGrew
