Christmas parade set for December 4

The annual Hazlehurst Christmas parade is set for Saturday, December 4 at 2:00 in the afternoon.  The Chamber of Commerce is again organizing and putting on the parade.

The route will be exactly the same as in recent years, beginning at the First Baptist Church on Frost Street, winding north on Caldwell, then east on Gallatin, then back north on Ragsdale by the Depot.  From there the route turns west on Green Street, then back north on Caldwell Drive.  The apex is on West Whitworth just past Huntington Lumber Co.

Those wishing to participate with floats, cars or in other ways should contact the Chamber of Commerce at 601-894-3752.  A registration form will also appear in the Copiah County Courier in a future issue.
