James “Mutt” Kemph

James “Mutt” Kemph, 85, of Baton Rouge, LA, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at his home. 

Visitation will be 9am-11am Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst.  Services will be 11am Tuesday from Stringer Family Chapel with interment in Hazlehurst Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mr. Kemph was a retired pipefitter after 65 years with Local 60 out of New
Orleans, Louisiana.  He was member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Central City.
 
Mr. Kemph was preceded in death by his parents, John and Cora Kemph, and 9
brothers and sisters.
 
He is survived by step-daughter, Donna Leland and husband Dale; brother, Jeff
Kemph; grandchildren Michelle Roy and husband Richard and Joseph Leland and wife Kelly; and great grandchildren, Madison Roy, Samantha Leland, Kyle Leland and Rebecca Leland.
