Melba Bailey Bush, 89, of Crystal Springs, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Copiah Living Center.
Visitation will be 3pm-5pm Sunday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 10am Monday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Harmony Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Melba was born to Millard and Nellie Bailey on March 29, 1921 in Bay Springs. She was a loving and devoted daughter who cared for her parents. She was a faithful wife who worked with her husband to make a happy home. She was a wise and attentive mother who led and encouraged her daughter when her granddaughter was born. She rejoiced and reveled in her life. They spent many hours playing and shopping together.
She is survived by her daughter, Jayne and husband Dick Smith of Crystal
Springs; her granddaughter Shannon and husband Jeff Little; two great
grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Jayne Little; her brother Mickey and wife Sara Ann Bailey and many nieces and nephews.
