Thelma Rose Lusk

Thelma Rose Lusk, 94, of Wesson, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven from 5-8 p.m.

Services will be held from Beauregard U.M. Church in Wesson with interment in Beauregard  Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10-11 at the church.

Mrs. Lusk was born Nov. 30, 1916, in Norfield to Charles and Mattie Shorter Curtis. She was a homemaker and member of Beauregard United Methodist Church. She was a member of the garden club,  Methodist Women, and 50+.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence Lusk; and four brothers.

Survivors include: son, Don Lusk and wife Nita; daughters, Sammye L. Levy and Lisa Smith and husband Gray Lynn; grandchildren, Jay Levy, Nick Smith, Kyle Smith, Wade Lusk, Donna Holcomb, and Kayleen Pickering; and six great grandchildren.
