Sheriff’s Department gets new car for free

DRUG SEIZURE NETS NEW CAR – Copiah County Sheriff Harold Jones was awarded the use of a vehicle seized in a drug arrest recently. The car has been outfitted for use by deputies and is now on the roads protecting citizens. Jones said that the vehicle represents not only his department’s success in protecting the citizens of Copiah County, but is also another way that the department has saved taxpayers’ money. The vehicle came at no direct cost to the county.
