Charles E. “Charlie Mac” McArthur

Graveside services for Charles E. “Charlie Mac” McArthur  will be  at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20,  2011, in Lowe Cemetery, Hazlehurst, Mississippi.

On Tuesday, August 16, 2011, Charles E. “Charlie Mac” McArthur, age 72, died at his home in Pineville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Asmus and Myrtle  Gertrude McArthur, and his son,  Charles “Lee” Simmons, II.

Survivors include: his wife of 45 years,  Dorris Page McArthur; four children,  Don Simmons of Boyce,  Mike Simmons of Boyce,  Melinda Bordelon of Echo and Charles E. “Chuck”  McArthur, Jr. of San Diego, California; sister, Susie Hicks of Gulf Breeze, FL; 13  grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN  38105.
