RRF t-shirts still available

Fans of the Rockin’ Railroad Festival can now get a piece of memorabilia for this year’s even a little ahead of time. For the first time, the Hazlehurst Chamber of Commerce, lead sponsor of the event, is selling t-shirts for the event at a low price of $15 each.
“We’ve had folks ask us each of the last two years if we had t-shirts for sale. Thanks to our sponsors, we proudly are able to make these available for this year’s festival,” said Joe Coates, chairman of the Rockin’ Railroad Festival Committee.
The Chamber urges those who want a RRF t-shirt to purchase them ahead of the festival, which is scheduled for October 1 in downtown Hazlehurst. They are available at the Chamber office in the Depot(cash or check_ and at the Copiah County Courier (cash, check or credit card), both of which are located on Ragsdale Avenue next to the railroad in downtown.
The shirts–which will be available in youth and adult sizes–and other logo-emblazoned RRF items will be available at the Festival in the Chamber of Commerce tent, as well. Festival information can be found at www.hazlechamber.com or www.copiahmonitor.com. A full day of entertainment, kids activities and art and literary displays is planned around a classic car show, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors and visiting with friends and family. Admission is free and everyone is invited to this community-oriented event.
“The first two Rockin’ Railroad Festivals have been well-attended and entertaining. We are planning for this year’s to be even more so and expect an even larger crowd,” Coates added.
