Christine Lingle
Christine Barlow Lingle, 85, of Crystal Springs, died Friday, October 14, 2011 at her home.
Visitation will be 1pm-2:30pm Saturday at Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs. Graveside services will be 3pm Saturday at Harmony Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
After graduating from Crystal Springs High School, Mrs. Lingle went to school in Atlanta until she went to work at the Pentagon. She worked there until the war ended. She moved back to Mississippi and worked at Mississippi School Supply until she married Mr. J. T. Lingle in 1946 and then worked for Dr. Moncure Dabney as his nurse until her daughter was born. She was a member of Crystal Springs United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, J. T. Lingle; daughter, Renee Newton and husband Bud of Mendenhall; sister, Waldyne Slay of Crystal Springs; grandchildren, Holly Moulder and husband Jason and Jay Shows and wife Stephanie; and 3 great grandchildren.
